Classic Game Room HD reviews STAR TREK DAC for XBLA Xbox 360 Live Arcade. This Star Trek DAC video game review has gameplay from Star Trek DAC in HD from XBLA. Released to coincide with the new Universal Pictures movie, Star Trek, this game has surprisingly little to do with Star Trek. It is an excellent arcade style multiplayer shooter game like Asteroids meets deathmatch though. Take command of any of three Federation (or Romulan) vessels like the flagship, bomber and fighter then duke it out in DAC (deathmatch, assault and conquest). Play over XBLA Xbox Live Arcade or fight in a single player mode by yourself against computer AI. Star Trek D.A.C. is simple, straight forward, addictive and fun. It lacks the depth of the Star Trek universe but excels at that simple, clever game play that many other Star Trek video games lacked in years past. Star Trek DAC is a worthy purchase for fans of arcade style space ship shooters with a multiplayer, deathmatch, assault and conquest twist. Classic Game Room HD reviews Star Trek video games as a Trekkie reviewing games reviewer previously by Trekkers like Star Trek! KAHN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can they call this a star trek. It's fucking 2010. Jesus.... When will someone produce a decent star trek game. Legacy had potential but was a rushed pile of shit. And trek online is for the limited few.E.A, Rockstar, please come in and buy this franchise and produce something worthy of the name

D-A-C stands for the three modes of play available in the game: Deathmatch, Assault, and Conquest, but DONUTS and COFFEE works for me

I usually find Star Trek games a bit hit and miss, also the controls always seem complicated!

one tihng i dont get is that in the 2009 movie when they were about to go to vulcan i noticed each ship is different. why is that? are some ships more important than others? do some have more weapons than otheres? cause theyre all flag ships but theyre all made differently. shouldnt they all have the same amount of weapons and engines considering theyre all the same class?
