I broke two trek madone bikes in the same year, the bottom braket fell apart on both and completely screwed up my right leg and im still dealing with the problem to this day. Thanks Trek

When I'm in the market for a very highend bike, a Madone will be at the top of the list.

Trek rocks:D The madone really is focused in sprint and when i do long distances i don't fell tired at all

Trek is one of the few that offers lifetime warranty on the frame others 5 years max. I dont have a trek and ride a Look. I would consider Trek just for the warranty alone.

Pros ride what they're paid to ride. Astana rides TREK b/c Lance has a longstanding contract with them. It'll be interesting to see what they ride now that Lance is moving to Radio Shack.

As another post suggested, everyone makes CF frames using the same techniques, there is nothing magical to TREK's manufacturing process, materials etc. TREK has great marketing though! As far as a road bike being "fast"... well I'm a cat3 racer (don't currently ride a TREK but have in the past). I've beaten Madone riders and been beaten by them. If you're averaging >26 mph on a 40K TT, maybe you can comment on 'fast' coming from the bike.
