The ship that looks like an Excelsior is a Vesper class. Obviously it's inspired by Excelsior design cues, and I'll be honest and say I don't like it much, but it is all-new.And, the Excelsior class would be about 125 years old in this game, not 200. Considering the TNG Tech Manual says the Galaxy class (Enterprise-D) was designed to last 100+ years including refits etc., I don't see why that'd be any different for Excelsior.

Well someone whos bought the game, how was it? Even though it looks horrible in this movie, i think the story and game setup sounds interesting. But youtube made the game look boring.So ye, was it a good game? worth 60 bucks?

love how they spent such a long time going on about it as if ship combat is some tacticaly deep and engaging thing when it turned out to basically be just point and shoot....this is world of warcraft in space, not star trek (yes Ive played it, I wish I'd saved my money)

Yea, it being star trek I cant believe they dint do that. Star Trek is all about team work and adventure together, I dont think it will feel the same if everyone is in different ships. I will try it out but I am very disappointed. I also understand that they need to make money and that it is the main focus, but I wish it was a lot less user friendly and more teky. To add technical advantages in pvp to crews that work well together.

yeah i agree, there is such a game, like star wars galaxies. But the game is already 6 years old, and they aren't working on it anymore. Not much ppl play it. But it would be cool, if we had the ability to make another player, officer of your ship, and in combat he has to do serveral things too.

@DarthVulku it's the Constitution class of ship only with better engines and hull and everthing.....Excaliber is just it's name
