Given that they're wearing the old-style uniforms it might be that the 6th is the NX-01 and the E hasn't been named/launched yet.

Someone's obviously blind here, there are numbers, depending on what quality your watching too, and besides, if you've watch the original, you can visibly see that there's number under the saucer section, on the left and the right of it. Even it's very visible when I was watching this episode with a far greater quality than that of Youtube, that you can see the numbers below it.
