@arrowriver"i also wasnt alive long enough to be able to play the first 2 zelda games".So you died before you could play them?

Why do they call this series "The Legend of Zelda" if you NEVER play as Zelda? Plus she's absent or just makes a small appearance in some games. Why not call the games "The Adventures of Link", since they keep insisting on having YOU name him and people first playing might get confused? Example: "Link II: The Legend of Zelda" should've been how the title of the second game went!

i really think tht a link to th past is the last one of them because if you think about it its a link as in connection and the title is past wich would mean taking you back to the ocariona of time where link is an adult i mean the game is called a link to the past so what we know as the dark world could just be the ocarina of time but idk beats the crap out of me i just enjoy playing the games

the only thing that would stop me from liking zelda is an rpg.

actualy i think they make remakes + new games in one game at some point wich makes it impossible to make a timeline

Tbh, I am curious about the timeline, and I, like many other LoZ fans, have tried to piece some of the games' timelines together. But I wouldn't want a timeline. Because if there's a timeline, it'd mean that each game's story would have to be partially significant to each other, meaning that every game would have to tie in with each other, completely ruining the point of not having a timeline in the first place: It's about enjoying each individual game, not the history and story behind the plot

lets see:-we have a sequel to the original-a prequel to the original-a sequel to the prequel of the original-a prequel of the prequel of the original-a sequel to the Young Link of the prequel's prequel to the original-a sequel to a sequel to a prequel of a prequel of the original-a prequel of a sequel to a sequel to a prequel of a prequel of the original-a prequel to a sequel to a sequel to a prequel of a prequel of the original

It's like the Wheel of time. Ages repeat themselves. similar but diffferent, yet the same. That's what Zelda's timeline is. there is NO beginning or ending. it's the same story, just the next time. upto 21,000 years later
